Vaughan Homes
If you are in the market for a detached home, you'll deeply enjoy the opportunities that the Vaughan detached homes for sale offer to you. In eyeing detached homes, it should be known that the very term "detached home" applies to a multitude of buildings (basically, what isn't a condominium, townhome, or rowhouse, among others). Such examples of these include mobile homes, sidesplits, bungalows, backsplits, ranchers, cottages, executive homes, single-story homes, and multi-story homes, among others. These detached homes are designed for a multitude of family types and living in any one of them also puts you super-close to all of the absolute best amenities that this city can offer to you. How? That's thanks to the major roadways that stretch throughout the entirety of the city; with so many roadways readily at your fingertips, there's nowhere in Vaughan that you couldn't access at a moment's notice (especially thanks to the presence of the Highway 400, which runs right through the middle of the city (effectively bisecting it)). As another benefit, the east to west-running major roadways all connect to the Highway 400, enabling rapid access to any part of the city you want to go to (or even to go out of the city).
At the intersections of Jane Street and Rutherford Road and Weston Road and Highway 7, you will find two very large collections of amenities. There, you will have the ability to fully enjoy every aspect of shopping and "glamor" as far as Vaughan is concerned. Plenty of boutiques and higher-end stores are mixed in amongst the amenities here, but you can also find grocery stores, LOTS of fast food places/restaurants, a post office, pharmacies, gas stations, an LCBO, coffee shops, a public library, a theater, and lots more. Alas, if the amenities of Vaughan do not tickle your fancy beyond more than just basic "necessity" shopping, then you can use the Highway 400 and get into the city of Toronto VERY easily; before you know it, you'll arrive in downtown, ready to thoroughly enjoy every amenity that the city of Toronto has to offer. At day's end, you will have the ability to be able to come back to whichever of the Vaughan detached homes for sale you would choose and relax in the less-than-Toronto urban scenery that still manages to mix the rural into it all in a very charming and utterly gorgeous manner that will have you feeling totally at ease (having the best of both worlds can truly be one of the best ways to live).
If you want to take a trip to somewhere outside of Vaughan, the Highway 400 is your best bet for that; getting out into the country becomes a total cinch when you realize the Highway 400 can get you all the way to Orillia and even way beyond that (allowing you to experience the watersports and beaches of Lake Simcoe). Back in Vaughan however, you also have a multitude of transportation options; namely, you have 2 GO train stations that run through the eastern part of Vaughan (the Rutherford and Maple stations), and you also have one TTC subway station (the northernmost one, which is the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre station) located at the intersection of Jane Street and Highway 7. If you are of the mind to use the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre station to get into Toronto from any of the Vaughan detached homes for sale, then you'll find this a very wise choice, as sometimes it's difficult to find proper parking in downtown Toronto, and the TTC subway system goes right down to Union Station (which also serves as a VIA rail train station and GO train station, enabling you to travel incredible distances from this one station in the heart of downtown Toronto).
